Volunteer Opportunities
The Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center likes to involve volunteers in its operation. While we certainly welcome individuals with an equestrian background, you do not need previous horse experience to be a part! We offer a variety of opportunities depending on your interests and time availability.

Quarterly Participant - Once a quarter come in to the museum and assist will the care of our exhibits.
- Event Participant - The Appaloosa Museum is proud to host our annual Christmas Open House and Appaloosa Fest. During the two events the museum offers many opportunities for individuals to become involved.

Museum Docent - As a Docent you are a museum representative greeting , answering questions, and serving as guide to museum visitors. Ample training is provided to offer both you and our visitors a worthwhile experience.
We welcome volunteers with all different skill levels and ages.
Volunteering is a great way to become involved in your community!
